MIT-WPU Technology Business Incubator (TBI) serves as the official innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem of MIT World Peace University. Established in 2016, MIT TBI is endorsed by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, with the mission to nurture technology business incubation initiatives across the nation. Our focus extends to supporting early-stage entrepreneurs, including students, as well as experienced startups. We provide vital assistance in the form of funding, mentoring, and networking opportunities. Recognised as a Technology Business Incubator by the Government of India, MIT TBI operates with the support of the Department of Science and Technology. Located within the MIT World Peace University campus in Pune's Kothrud area, MIT TBI boasts 11,000 square feet of dedicated space, specifically designed to empower entrepreneurs and innovators. This facility encompasses co-working office spaces and a rapid prototyping lab, tailored to incubate startups companies founded by students. Notably, MIT-WPU students and alumni enjoy a one-year waiver on office rent. MIT TBI is committed to exploring various funding and prototyping grant programmes.
