Packages and Bundles
A package sells several sessions at once, with a validity window. It is the difference between being someone a founder called once and someone they work with for a quarter.
What you will learn
- What a package contains and how it is priced
- The two package types and when each fits
- How validity works, and what happens when it runs out
- How package sessions are drawn down
Why bother#
A single session ends when the hour does. A package creates a working relationship: the founder has already committed, so they come back with the follow-up question instead of deciding all over again whether to spend money. It is also the simplest way to make advising predictable rather than sporadic.

The two types#
Sessions bundle
A fixed number of sessions to be used inside the validity window. Best for a defined piece of work - getting to a fundraise, fixing pricing, shipping a first enterprise deal.
Subscription
An ongoing arrangement rather than a countdown. Best for retained advising where the value is availability rather than a set number of hours.
Price the bundle below the sum of its parts
The discount is the reason to commit up front. Set Original price to the honest sum of individual sessions so the saving is visible rather than asserted.
How it is used#
- 1
A mentee buys the package
They pay once, for the whole bundle.
- 2
They book against it
Each booking draws one session from the balance instead of charging again.
- 3
The balance runs down
You can see remaining sessions per subscriber from the package's subscribers view.
- 4
Validity expires
Unused sessions lapse at the end of the window. Set validity long enough to be fair and short enough to create momentum.
Validity is a real deadline
A 60-day window on a four-session package means roughly one session a fortnight. If your own availability is thin, you are selling something the buyer cannot actually consume - which is how refund conversations start.
Packages carry their own session duration, so treat the package as its own offering rather than as credit against your general price list.
Deactivate it. Existing subscribers keep what they bought and can still book against their balance; nobody new can purchase.
Build it, by all means - nothing is purchasable until you are verified anyway, and having it ready means you are selling from day one.
